I really wanted someone to share the responsibility with me for making the business a little more visible. It was slow going.  The bad part was that no one seemed to understand that it would take more than the traditional methods of marketing.  The climate of the business world has changed; it takes more than press released and product based marketing to keep things going and build a company’s ranking. The first thing I did was make sure that our website was up to date and that all of the links worked.  Then I consulted a SEO expert and after getting a few bids together and organizing a few things, I was able to approach the board with some terrific statistics that showed how our business could vastly increase.  It was a huge success and wonderful to see the business  make huge improvements   almost overnight.  I’m glad that I had the expert to help me.
